Is there any reason to go over 100 in detect illusion for thieves?

I don't think so. I have it work pretty much every time at 100.

I don't believe so. Afaik skill in Detect Illusions directly translates into the success-percentage, so 100 is the maximum (the other thieving skills do not work like that by the way). I don't believe there are any penalties to the skill either, so 100 points should be enough for any situation (DEX does not confer bonuses/penalties to DI).

I'm pretty sure there isn't, the skill description says it's a percentage chance, going over 100% doesn't make much sense... And at least my thief with 100 points in detect illusions seems to always succeed in removing enemy illusions.

    EDIT: Damn, ninja'd twice.

    I do love this.

    Enemy wizard casts invisibility!

    Thief: *glare*

    Illusion dispelled.

It'd be cool if it dispelled at double speed with 200 points. I'd invest the extra points for that.
