#7220 [CORE] - Imported Mage CHARNAME keeps Ring of Wizardry Spells on Import

My main character was a Conjurer, and I noticed that despite not having enough slots, he has all of the Level 1 spells that he had on final save from BG1EE in his spellbook. This is a bug because the number of spells available is half as many. The first half of spells show up properly in spell slots, but I show additional spells not in a spell slot but still showing as memorized on the Level 1 spellbook screen.

If I rest, the spells are all maintained, including the spells that are above and beyond the number I should be allowed to memorize, so resting does not fix the issue; it appears my Conjurer may be able to keep the excess Level 1 spells indefinitely (as long as I do not manually remove them from the spellbook).

I am using the Steam version of the game, and imported my character from Final Save of BG1EE.

@butsam: So this is REALLY interesting in that I just caught a bug in BG:EE with the evermemory and losing spell slots on rest. EXACT same cause and effect as this one. Spell slots go away but memorized spells stay. If you click to forget a spell in an unmemorized slot you lose it forever, otherwise you can keep resting and resting over and over again and relearning those spells and casting them.

Can you zip up your BG:EE Final save so I don't have to re-produce this from scratch and post it up here? I'll get a bug cut for it.

Sure thing -- final save attached.

I imported the character, then after opening scene looked at spellbook. Also, note that if you don't change the spellbook, you still keep the excess spells even after resting.
