Neera Romance Question BGEE to BG2EE?

Just wondering if you load a save in BG2EE where you romanced Neera dose she acknowledge it at all? Also it dose not lock you into her romance in BG2EE right?

    Due to constraints within the game itself, BG2:EE will not recognize anything about your character from BG:EE except for his/her character sheet - the second game doesn't acknowledge any romances from the first, so you're free to pursue whomever you like :)

    I do, however, remember a dev around here saying that they're looking at ways to have NPCs in the second game acknowledge it in some way, but don't quote me on that.
