Problem with side quests and journal after meeting Matron Mother

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Met the Matron Mother and received the Cultist quest and encountered Visaj as I should have. But I wasn't able to free the slaves and my journal entries don't even mention getting the blood of the elder races for her. And the Quilue quest hasn't closed properly because it's still showing up on my uncompleted quest page and the Arboleth still seems to think that I haven't killed her although I delivered the brain and got the XP days ago.

Any ideas?
