Turn Hostile npc back to friendly

Does anyone know if there is any way to make hostile NPC friendly again, after accidentally attacking them?
It looks like i accidentally hit one of the mages in Neera's camp with a spell or something that made the whole camp turn hostil. Sadly i have overwritten any previous saves before finding this out.

I know you can charm them to talk to them, however it's a bit hard to charm the whole camp, especially since Neera can't hold that many charm spells in her memorization slots.

I'm hoping there's a Global or something that could be edited? or perhaps a console command that makes them friendly? Sadly Ctrl+q only makes them friendly while in the party, once they leave they are hostile again.

I've always thought you should be able to "talk" to a hostile target which allows the NPC to say something that allows them to go back to being Neutral. A good example would be when Marl attacks you, after you knock him unconscious (assuming you don't kill him) you can talk to him and he'll say something along the lines of "Fine you win, but we don't need your stinkin' adventuring kind around here!" and he goes back to being neutral and walks back over to his friend.

Another example would be when a Candlekeep Watcher catches you for stealing and you refuse to pay, you could talk to him again after he talks to you and he could say something along the lines of, "Do you yield? Will you pay the fine?"

It can be done, but it requires fairly involved save-editing work. Post a save and the name of the hostile NPC and I'll see what I can do.

(I remember having to do this when a buggy version of SCS had calls for help that turned the druids in Irenicus' Dungeon hostile and it was something of a pain in the ass)
