Armor of Faith

Is this spell bugged? My Blackguard is lvl 12, which it should give a 15% dmg absorption(dmg reduction?). The way I read it, it should work like the Barb passive?
Then how come, I take 69 dmg, and it only removes 1 of that dmg, and I take 68?

I've had similar issues on my clerk/ranger. with defender of easthaven and AoF, it should've given me like 40% dmg reduction. but it only reduced like 7 out of 40 etc.

Paladins (including Blackguards) only gain Cleric levels from the moment they start getting Cleric spells, which I think is level 9? So your level 12 Blackguard is casting AoF as a level 3 Cleric, not a level 12 Cleric.

ah, makes sense. I thought that was one of the reasons, you would want a paladin / blackguard over a cleric fighter, fewer spells, but cast at a higher caster lvl.

Yea Paladin's caster levels are 8 levels behind a clerics of the same level. For rangers its 7 levels behind.
