Can only load through the Tutorial

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Hi,

I downloaded the steam version, and the only way to get into a game is via the Tutorial. What I mean is, when I click on Baldur's Gate or the Black Pits, I get a black screen and have to Alt+F4 out of it, but not for the tutorial, so I am able to load and play a game through that. Has this happened to anyone else?

Any help would be appreciated,

    That's... very strange. Apart from reinstalling the game and rebooting the computer, I don't think there's much to suggest. Try those things if you haven't, and then make a post in the bugs forum if it continues to be an issue.
