[Known, #7147] [RASSAD] ToB Quest: Ending Dialogue Won't Trigger, Wheel of Obliteration Doesn't Work

Essentially I used the Wheel of Obliteration and then left the shadow area before Alorgoth's/Rasaad's final dialogue, and then made a quick save when I was on the other side of the portal. As that was my only save plus the autosave on leaving the portal, I can't reload to before I used it. Is there a way around this, like spawning the shadow dragon and killing it again?

Otherwise I'm loving the game and want to say thank you!

    If you left the Shadow Plane before the final dialogue, the portal should still be open. Just go back through it and wait for the dialogue. You should otherwise be able to work around it as per the thread below (should be fixed with the next patch, though that probably won't help your current game).

    Thanks for the quick reply, but when I go back to the shadow plane nothing happens except getting swarmed by shadow creature, . Is there a way to trigger the dialogue?

    I had the same thing happen and just went back through the portal. Run your entire party over to the dragon corpse and click the open portal from there and it'll trigger the dialogue halfway through your run to it

    Here you go, I have tried waiting by the corpse, I wondered if maybe spawning the shadow dragon back in and killing it again might be able to trigger it if I had the code. Thanks for looking!

    As there HAS been a lot of work and discussion surrounding this, i'm going to tag this with one of the bug numbers so it's got some tracking in the consolidated issues thread.

    For lack of a better bug, 7147 seems to be directly related.

    It's more likely #7145 (Shadow Plane portal shouldn't be operative until Alorgoth dealt with) which was confirmed fix in the last build. However, if someone with beta/nightly access could double-check with that saved game and/or post some repro steps, that'd help confirm if this is the same bug.

    Managed a workaround, if you go back to the shadow plane and kick Rasaad out of your party, it triggers the dialogue. I just Ctrl+Q'd him after that and everything worked out fine, now able to progress.

    Hmm, different but very related issue. So I've killed shadow dragon, open portal, the trigger works with undead kill alogorth, I go thru portal, and it freezes, can't do any thing. Tried many different dialogue options etc. I'm playing via ipad2. Only way can continue is ignore Rasaads quest completion.
