Several Questions about BG2EE (massive spoilers)

Hello everybody. Earlier this year I bought a new computer (so I can run everything) and I kinda lost track of what was going on with BGEE new patch and BG2EE, so I have several questions, as I'm still wondering if buying BG2EE now or just leave it for the future. The search function and Google have not been very helpful finding the answers.

1) Was Ascension finally added to TOB? If not, are there any changes to the storyline, encounters, etc.?

2) Has the Imoen storyline been updated anyhow? Originally, she was supposed to die at Spellhold, but it was changed at the last moment, so she has very little dialogue afterwards. Has this been fixed?

3) Have the balance fixes from old mods been added? Fixing spell progression, grand mastery, all those sorts of things.

4) Has anything from SCS or Tactics been added?

5) How is the mod compatibility so far? The game was just recently released, but are the big guys working on adapting their mods to it?

6) Is it worth it considering that I'm used to play heavy modded BG2 games? The vanilla experience may be a bit too bland for me.

Many mods have been adapted already, and several (though certainly not all) that haven't will still work if you update WeiDU. There's an evolving list here.
