Mazzy v. Gorf: where's my stuff?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Hi. So I fought and beat Gorf in the pit at the Copper Coronet. I went off on other quests and discovered that Mazzy's equipment hadn't been returned. Where do I find it? I tried talking to Surly, but that didn't help. She was fully decked out so I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks!

    It should be on the floor where Mazzy stood before she was transferred into the fighting pit.

    So after a few days most of it would be gone…?

    Ah found it! *hugs the red dragon armor* It was weird. I returned to the inn a second time. The same spot that only contained a note earlier now contained all her gear...
