Help me out :)

I just installed a bunch of mods namely SCS and I'm going to do a full play through of BG1 to ToB and I need suggestions of what I should be

I just finished SoA/ToB with a Dwarven Defender albeit with no mods. I'm quite excited for the challenge with full blown SCS.

was thinking of a Druid or a Kensai dualed to Thief but both would be very painful until late SoA/ToB. Maybe a F/M/T or something... I'm very much undecided..

I need suggestions, I'm open to pretty much anything :)

Hmmm.. why not a Barbarian or Berserker dualed to Druid or Mage (Rage Mage)? Both are quite powerful and fun to play through the whole series. Another combo I really love is the Shadowdancer/Mage, but it also can be a bit painful for quite some time during SoA.

Yeah that's not a bad idea

I'm not certain but I'm guessing the best time to dual fighters/fighter kits is at level 13, maybe someone can draw some insight on that

If you're running a full 6, most people suggest level 9. If you're running with a smaller group (4 or less) than 13 is ok from what I remember other forum threads saying. Then again with how quickly druids level....

well shit I went with a Berserker but only gave her 10 charisma so I can't dual to druid :(

not sure if the charisma ring at the start of BG2 allows you to dual but I assume it takes your base charisma

@EnterHaerDalis - Yes, as far as I can tell, dual classing takes into account base scores only. Tomes count, but that won't help you in this case.

    just out of curiosity

what are the minimum requirements to dual a berserker into a druid?

I shadowkeeper'd everything to 18 to see and it still won't allow me to dual into a druid. Is it a bug or is dualing into a druid not possible with a specialist fighter kit?

    Are you True Neutral?

That'll do it! There's your problem.

DnD didn't let Druids be Neutral Good or Neutral Evil until 3rd Edition. Baldur's Gate of course runs 2nd Edition. Your only option is being True Neutral. Yeah so for a Druid dual-class you have to have 15 Strength, 17 Wisdom, 17 Charisma, and be True Neutral. It's insane.
