Didn't see a thread about this yet, and thought it might be of interest to some that one of the bigger youtube gaming channels (Yogscast Sjin) started playing BG2:EE. Hopefully it helps bring some well-deserved attention to the game.

Every time I watch a new(ish) player play the game, I'm reminded of how illogical the 2nd Edition stat system really is. The only way to create a really viable character is to have a fair amount of metagame knowledge honestly, but luckily the game is beatable even with weaker characters at least on easier difficulties. Needless to say, they created pretty weak characters. :P

Here's a hoping they'll find a workaround for the multiplayer crash during the chapter texts (first one at the end of the dungeon)... too bad that bug is still around.

    No. If I understand you correctly, I believe you are referring to Simon from the other yogscast channel. So don't need to keep your ears covered if that bothers you. :P
