Getting older kit mods to work on BG: EE?

Long story short, I am hell bent on getting the Sellsword kit to work from the Megamodkits mod; I am able to install it but when I go to select the kit it is greyed-out.
Are there any tutorials on how to update old kit mods so that they work in BG EE? Or can someone instruct me on what to do?
BTW I am on Mac OS X, and I have the latest edition of Weidu.

    The latest edition of WeiDU comes with a folder called "lib". Inside there is a subfolder called "fl#add_kit_ee" containing a function that should be run after ADD_KIT on the EE.

    The folder "fl#add_kit_ee" contains also a ReadMe and an example (i.e. a fully functional minimod adding a kit in BGEE) for this new function.
