So how hard is it to create a custom character or party member?
It's really hard to find guides on it, Baldurs Gate Modding as a search term provides predictable results, and most f the other guides are outdated/gone.

    The Branwen mod available here (by Kulyok) is (as far as I can tell) compatible with BG2EE and has nicely commented files explaining what everything does.

    Writing new party members are a sizable amount of work (especially writing dialogue).
