WeiDU installation error

I'm running BG: TSC with Wine under Puppy Linux. When I install it, it says I don't have enough available space for the custom installation with everything checked (although it's reporting more than seven gigs on the drive, and the installation takes less than three). There's plenty of space, and the installation works fine, but it says there isn't enough.

I bring this up because I'm trying to install WeiDU, and it keeps telling me the installation is wrong. I've installed the game several times, but it keeps saying it's wrong. Is this because of the problem with installing the game, or is it another issue?

    The TotSC installer is too antique to understand that disks can be over a certain size, so it's a known issue that it bugs out. But it should still install fine if you choose to proceed despite its warnings. There could conceivably be issues unique to running the installer on top of Wine. As for the rest, you need to post error messages and such.

    Running mods through Wine is a bad idea. BGT should install natively on GNU/Linux (at least, it did last I tried) provided you use native WeiDU (available at weidu.org) and other dependencies (the tis2bg2 program being the most likely to be problematic).

    Also, BGT and WeiDU are two different things. BGT-WeiDU means BGT, installed by WeiDU (as opposed to the old method).
