Best Sun Soulray

The way Sun Soulray works right now is AWESOME.

May be OP but it sure is fun.

Maybe the devs. could take their sweet time fixing this one??

My record is 10 enemies.

EDIT: Actually I think this is only 5 enemies but it's still cool.

    I got like 7 or 8 in the city of the dead during the cult of the eyeless quest, best part was half of them immediately chunked, I have never seen so much flying meat in my life

    I always felt that Rasaad, being solar-powered and all, should worship the Boom Maiden rather than the Moon Maiden. This thread strengthens that conjecture. You have my thanks.

    I'm actually about to roll a Black Pits party with a Sun Soul monk. Screenshots coming soon, I'm sure.

    Lets hope this will be fixed in next patch :) Overpowered as hell

    Does anyone know what the aoe shape is? it almost seems to be a chain effect where if another enemy is close enough to the target then the effect is passed on. But it could be a cone shape like cone of cold also i guess, although it would seem to be a pretty narrow cone.

    Can't remember if it was straight to dead. I do remember I was having tons of trouble doing any damage with the 2nd form, then I tried the sun soulray ability because otherwise Rasaad would just be sitting around. And then the lich died. The other characters were also trying to attack as well, so maybe they helped.

    traps in his first form, 2 SSrays in his second form. whole fight was over in about 15 seconds

    Does ssray go past his protections? I might temporarily pick up keldorn and rashad to kill kangax then :)

    Anyone know if dropping Jaheira is still permanent?

    2 rounds. 2 ssrays. i didn't have any problems getting round his protections, maybe i hit him too quick to get them up

    It works weird, that's for sure. Sometimes it doesn't do anything at all, with no notifications. i always thought this was just the enemy saving against it but i saw in another thread that this may be a bug, maybe related to the distance from the target being too great when cast.
