Make the "plain" helmets plain again

I've noticed that the basic un-adorned helmet (the one with no plumes/feather/horns/wings) now suddenly comes with horns attached on the character sprite even though the paperdoll, icon and description page shows the basic one. As someone who hates horned helmets this irks me immensely. Messing about in EE Keeper it's possible to find and equip the regular plain helmet (IHELM01), so it's still in the game resources apparently.

    Completely agreed. I dislike horned helmets, and often used Vhailor's helm in the original BG2 mainly due to it being a non-horned design. The helm of Balduran usually gets relegated to whoever's wearing the cloak of displacement too.

    TL;DR version: horns bad.

    I change my appearance to the thief paperdoll in EEKeeper. Hoods > Helmets.

    Minsc got stuck in a doorway today due to his horned helmet. This sort of incident must be prevented from happening again!

    Horns sell more copies, obviously. Horns for everyone!

    If you set the helmet's animation model to J0 (Helmet 8, I think is what it's called in Near Infinity) that will take the horns away.
