10 attacks per round without belm?

I've heard it's possible on a fighter (i.e. berserker) to reach 10 attacks per round without belm:
2 attacks (base) + 1 (dual wield) + .5 (specialization) + 1 (grand-mastery) + .5 (gauntlets of extraordinary specialization) = 5 APR x 2 = 10 with improved haste.
However, the maximum I can achieve is 4.5, even with everything listed. My char is a grandmaster in both weapons, has the gauntlets of extraordinary specialization, but he still does not surpass 4.5. Am I missing something?

I'm not entirely sure, but it's possible the mod that restored GM in original BG2 made it add another attack on top of specialization. Or somebody was just misinformed to start with.
So lv13+ (2/weapon, +1 dual, +0.5prof**+ (max 1 with GM), +0.5bracers) x 2 I.H = 8 or 9(GM) regular max. ^
..or a weapon with a +1ATT in one hand (and 10 direct even without GM and/or bracers, eventually) ), but those ones are - belm scimetar or kundane short.sword- thac0+2 max for fighters, depends the 'thing' ahead..but might work and just be sufficient for the common folks too... *)
I want to try Cleric of Lathander>Fighter. I think that could be really fun.
The reason I made it a 12 dual is because of caster level. As a dual you'll cast spells at the level of the class that's normally casting them, and so you need some levels to make things like DuHM worthwhile. It also increases the duration of BoL.
