*SPOILERS* Question about Hell Trials

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I once read that if you pick ANY evil option your character alignment automatically changes to evil. Is this true? I'm running a LN Dwarven Fighter Cleric atm (Although I might EE keeper it to LG like she really is.........are Moradin Battle-priests LG?) and I sorta want the +2 Con bonus but I'm afraid of an alignment change =/

    It's true. However, it doesn't really matter unless you're a paladin or ranger.

    In that case I'll just save it for a playthrough with an evil dwarf. Maybe I'll make my own evil dwarven berserker instead of the one they give me (or an evil dwarven defender, even if that makes little sense RP wise)
