Multiplayer load times are dreadfully slow

Having issues when playing with a friend when it's time to transition between areas or when the game is starting up right after my friend has joined.

Load times are horrific because of this usally 2-3 minutes every time you change the area. Whenever the game loads a new chapter we can't go on until he disconnects manually from the game because the just freezes.

Also there doesn't seem to be any loadscreens visible when playing multiplayer.

    Might be worthy to note that all ports are opened and we're experiencing it both when using beamdog & hamachi.

    Is it like this for everyone?

    Yes they are quite slow in general. For some reason they were better yesterday for us though.

    Yes, seems today was a lot faster than usual as well. Very strange!

    It's not fast, but it's definitely not supposed to be 2-3mins.

    our load times oddly feel faster and faster each day! today it almost felt as if there was no load time, though you could still tell when I was saving. it might be an on and off things or dependant upon the protocol you use.

    Been experiencing the same effect. Despite there having been no patching. Perhaps the beamdog servers were overloaded or something
