Stuff found during Hexxat's third quest *spoilers*

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Hi! I found a lamp, a statue and a piece of silk in the chest at the beginning of the map. Are they to be used during the map or are they to be used later. So, in short, now/later/not at all. /J

    Could somebody please spoil the effing map. I've been over it three times and I haven't got a clue what to do with all the stuff in between - items, statues, the chest painted on the floor etc. (I collect the shroud at the end though). /J

    I'm not completly sure but I think it activates the traps. :


    The lamp makes the genie come alive
    The statue weighs 1000lbs when you step on the spikes so that makes you stuck on them but I don't know what that piece of silk does tough, doesn't it maybe reanimate the statues ??
