What items to import into BG2:EE from BG:EE?

So what are the best items to import to the next game? I have a base idea on things I plan to bring in but I want to know if there are any things that really end up shining. Thoughts?

Golden Pantaloons
Armor wise all the options are pretty lame. I would personally go with the mail of the dead +2 since plate mail +1 is easily looted very early, in the first ambush of the game iirc
Plenty of NPCs out there that -2 con won't affect.
Note that all of the info I've got about item importing is from the original Shadows of Amn so some of this may have been tweaked... but probably not. It gave me the correct items.
The game will check your inventory and then pick three items to import over- these won't actually start in your inventory but they can be looted in the first area of the game. The first item it checks for is the Golden Pantaloons- if you've got them, they'll appear in a container; otherwise, you can't get them.
The game then checks through two lists, one for armor, and the other for miscellaneous equipment. The first list is:
1. Protector of the Second (Leather Armor +2)
2. Mail of the Dead (Chain Mail +2)
3. Fallorain's Plate (Plate Mail +1)
4. Studded Leather Armor +2, Missile Attraction (I don't know if you could actually find this item in the original, it was cursed and worthless anyway)
5. Chain Mail +3
If you have any of these items, it will be found on an enemy in the first area. If you have more than one, the item highest in the list takes precedence. For example, if you had the both Fallorain's Plate and Protector of the Second, only Protector of the Second will appear. If you don't have any, the enemy will have the Mail of the Dead.
Here's the miscellaneous list:
1. Helm of Balduran
2. Claw of Kazgaroth
3. Horn of Kazgaroth
4. Koveras' Ring of Protection +1
Same as above, highest item takes precedence if you have more than one. If you don't have any, the game will give you the Helm of Balduran. This item is found in a container.
...Apparently, there was also supposed to be a weapon imported, but this was never actually implemented despite the dialog still existing in the game. The weapon you do get would actually have been one of the best melee weapons in the game, though, so it's not a bad deal at all.
Losing your equipment isn't so bad, you get to rediscover entire tiers of weaponry and armor. Really makes the early game quite entertaining as you're constantly getting cool, brand-new items.
