Can't complete first Paladin mission [spoilers]

Okay so Prelate Wessalen of the Order of the Radiant Heart ordered me to go to Umar Hills and help defend a group of Order members from a variety of creatures.

I arrived there, helped kill off the ettins, orcs, and ogre mages, and there were a few of the paladins left, who thanked me and said they had to go report the result to the Order.

I returned to Wessalen, and he tells me that he's waiting for my report, but the only option I have to tell him is that there is nothing more at this time.

I'm pretty sure I've done what I was supposed to do, I can't figure out what I might have missed, that it's bugged out on me, and now I'm stuck. Both my quicksave and my autosave have been written over since I killed the monsters.

Any ideas?

Have you tried to talking to someone else, who Wessalen told you to speak to regarding the quest?

You need to talk to William Reirrac who should be somewhere in hall
