Renaming multi-classes?

Is there anyway to change the name of a class or a multi-class? Example: Lets say I make a fighter/mage can I change the display class name to lets say, Battlemage? I always for some stupid reason hated the way multi-class names show up in the game so if this could be done in some tool like EEkeeper that would be awesome

As far as I remember, the game never refers to your character's class in ingame dialogue. It is only displayed in the character profile, so it doesn't get in the way of roleplay in any case, and I just ignore it.

For example I think of Minsc as more of a warrior than a Ranger. I like to roleplay a 'Xia-ke' from the Chinese Wuxia genre, but there isn't even an English translation for such a character class, so I use 'Kensai', even though it is derived from Japanese. I just never refer to my character as a Kensai in roleplay.

@Dragonspear would like to do so with a Bladesinger.
And Battlemage sounds worst for me. I like the multi-cheese, ur, em, I mean, classes name's.

If you enter console command C:StrrefOn(), it will show you string numbers of all text in the game. See the string number in your inventory screen, that you want to change, and load that string in DLTCEP. There you can rewrite it to whatever you want. I don't have access to the game right now, but I think there should be only one string for a multi-class, so it should work easily. You must enter command C:StrrefOff() to make the numbers disappear after.

@Pecca or you can simply search Str reference with Near Infinity, just saying... :P

@CrevsDaak: With these things, there are usually multiple references in dialog.tlk. So just to be safe:).

@Pecca Just change 'em all and let the guards sort 'em out. Yes, I agree, there are two references mostly for every single creature, not to mention about spells having a different one, and the scroll yet ANOTHER reference for its name.

It's an interesting idea. But what could you name them all?

    Fighter/Mage = Battlemage
    Fighter/Cleric = Warpriest
    Fighter/Thief = Sellsword
    Mage/Thief
    Ranger/Cleric
    Fighter/Druid
    Fighter/Mage/Thief
    Fighter/Mage/Cleric
    Assassin/Fighter
    Swashbuckler/Fighter
    ...
