How to make the pause time shorter?

Is there any way to make pause shorter until I restart the game in Multiplayer mode? I hope to create a team that all the 6 characters are created by myself in multiplayer mode. But once I found when I pause the game, it will stop for a while until I can pause to resume the game, showing "You must wait until you can pause again". I am not playing the game with others by internet, so I want game pause as short as in the "single player mode"(in single player mode, I no need to wait at all). I there anyone tell me if it's possible to change this setting? Thank you very much!

    Yrah, the same happrns to me, just move the saved game to the "save" folder and not the "mpsave" folder where it should be, that will make it single player, and much easier to pause with that and better shop/inn interface the MP suffers of.

    Your welcome, also it is recommended because there are no possibilities of someone joining and there will be a lot more less crashes.
