So how many versions of the game do you own?

Looking back, I spent a lot of money on this game... My buying history:

Original BG1 (not completed at that time, Planescape came out soon after and took all attention)
Original BG2
Original ToB expansion
Collector's edition of the complete saga (when my son was born I bought one to make sure I have a second copy to play multiplayer with him when he grows up... :) )
GoG BG1 (we moved to India and my CDs are in storage, DSL too slow here for online games so it was back to the classics)
GoG BG2+ToB
BG1EE ipad (which sucks in my opinion)
BG1EE Mac (even though my GoG is running well on bootcamp but I want to support Mac game development)
BG2EE Mac (ditto)
coming after next patch BG2EE Win (my son is now 8, it is time! :) )
probably BG2EE ipad when it's out for solo runs when travelling (can't stand parties on the ipad interface)

So that's 5 versions of BG1 and already 4 BG2 with 2 more coming. I think I should gate a rebate. :)

Actually I think there would be good demand for a multi-platform license...

Anyone can beat that? :)

Baldur's Gate + Tales of the Sword Coast as part of D&D Anthology on Gamersgate
Baldur's Gate II: Tron des Bhaal bought while on school exchange trip in Germany... big mistake. Ended up with a semi-readable Gerenglish unplayable game
Baldur's Gate II + Throne of Bhaal, also as part of D&D Anthology
    Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
    Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition

I've previously mostly played my brothers' versions of Baldur's Gate which came in a sort of collector box with Planescape Torment and... something else... and a collector's edition of Baldur's Gate II. It's only last year I picked up the anthology pack with the BGs for myself and eventually the EEs.

I have slightly fewer versions than some of you guys, but I do have at least one from every "generation" of releases.

    Original Baldur's Gate
Baldur's Gate + Tales of the Sword Coast collector's edition
    Original Baldur's Gate 2 (the multi-disc one)
    Original Throne of Bhaal
Baldur's Gate "complete saga" (the one with BG1, Tales of the Sword Coast, SoA, and ToB each on their own disc)
    Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition
    Baldur's Gate 2 Enhanced Edition

What can I say? I believe in this series.

I have the originals in their cardboard boxes, and now both BG:EE & BG2:EE on beamdog.

All told, I've bought games in the BG series 8 times - I'm much too lazy to go and break down each purchase again.

The iPad version was the reason why I started soloing, and the computer version the one why I follow doing so :P

The only one I did not get was the GOG version... that being said I did buy it on beamdog's site, and then bought it again on steam LOL (beamdog's installer drove me nuts)
