IWD bard + ranger spell progression via EEKeeper?

Those of you who have played IWD with the HoW expansion know that bards, rangers, and paladins have spell progression charts that are somewhat more generous than those found in the BG games.
Bards eventually get access to level 7 spells (at class level 24) and level 8 spells (at class level 29).
Rangers get level 4 spells (class level 15), level 5 spells (class level 22), and level 6 spells (class level 29). (Similar benefits are given to paladins.)
Would any problems emerge in the game if I were to assign these additional spell slots to characters via EEKeeper? That is, if I were to do this, would it mess anything up, in terms of the game's playability?
I realize that there may be mods that implement these changes, but I'd rather not install them, as I do not want to restart my current game. (And, frankly, I'm too lazy to figure out how to install mods right now.)

As for mods, all you need is modified 2da files for those classes spell progression. Installing would be simply copying those to Override folder and wouldn't require restart of game (though it could take a level up to kick in).
Are the relevant modified 2da files available anywhere?
Good news: ...so I made them myself =D
Download attached file, unzip it, copy the files into Override folder (or create it if you don't have it yet) and enjoy ID-like spell progression for bard, ranger and paladin.
I used this site as base (checked with manual) and then expanded the tables to level 40 by my own.
NOTE: Unfortunately I have only BGEE right now (will buy BGIIEE in two days most likely) so I was able to test them just to levels 18/19, but they worked perfectly fine.
