Can't talk to familiar

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Hi,
On my new playthrough I summoned a new familiar, a Psuedo Dragon, and I can't interact with it. So I can't moce it to backpack or anyhting. It is rather annoying. Is it intended to work like this? I have had other familiars on other playthoughs that I can interact with just fine.

    No you should be able to talk to a Pesudo Dragon.

    Is it possible that it got Silenced? Like magically.

    No, I tries talking to it right after I summoned it and I summoned it when nothing was near, in Athkatla.

    Just to confirm, you are clicking the talk icon from the GUI and then using it on the familiar?

    Yes.
    I restarted game and reloaded before I summoned the familiar and it works now... Lost a looot of time though :/
