problem with ee keeper

in BGII:EE Mods
whenever i try to set the installation directory in ee keeper, i keep getting a window that says that the game can no be found in that folder. has anybody else had this problem or know a way to fix it?

    What directory are you pointing it to? You need to give it the folder that contains the file 'chitin.key' for whichever game (BG1 or BG2) that you want to modify save games for.

    the bg2 ee directory, which specific one shold i select? where do i find the chitin.key file?

    My BG2EE chitin.key is in Program Files (x86)>Baldur's Gate II Enhanced Edition>Data>00783. It's not in the main BG2EE directory; you need to drill down a bit deeper to find it.

    now it says eekeeper is unable to read the text resources

    I think that means you need to select a language option from the drop down menu below the box where you select the installation directory.
