Anomen Quest Bug?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
So I did part 1 of Anomen's quest (didn't exact revenge) and Anomen gets his radiant heart invite. When we show up we get taken inside and Anomen starts complaining on how he must return home because his sister hasn't been mourned?

Nothing new at his house.

What have I done wrong. Is this a bug?
