Daily problems on a mac (SOLVED)

So after playing BG and BG 2 (both EE of course) I've decided to start modding my client. I can mod BG EE just fine. But anytime I try to install a mod for the second (like Auren Aseph for example), Terminal says I require privileges. So the logical thing to do would be to go and enable privileges. But I already have them enabled. I might be missing something but if anyone could help, I'd appreciate it since no one else in my house has a mac. :)

    Try: sudo whatever-command-want-to-execute

then you need to give your system/root password and the command will be executed as superuser who has max privileges.
