Version number on bottom right of the screen during start up

I am unable to tell what patch I have installed or not. Most games have version pop up for a second during start up or have a place to loook it up in game.

Otherwise I am thoroughly impressed with the modern features of BG 2 EE

    It should say 'Patch 1.2.2030 available for use' on the launcher, but I think that wording is a bit confusing.

    it says it but how do you install it? does it install automatically?

    lol... see there's no way to verify patch version that I can see
