You don't have to release Keldorn from your service permanently. You can pick him up after he takes his kids to the circus. Or perhaps I misunderstood the statement?
@Arthasll , wow, this is an old thread. I think maybe a Charname with any form of chaotic alignment would lead Anomen to seek revenge for his sister's death, even possibly a chaotic good character.

the scenario is rigged. If you encourage Anomen to follow the law and not seek revenge without proper evidence, then the guy did kill his sister and justice is not served. If you encourage Anomen to take the law into his own hands and strike, then the guy did not kill his sister, and you helped Anomen kill an innocent man. It's actually pretty frustrating, but I always take the lawful path.
I recall that you can immediately seek revenge as Anomen’s father wishes or you can initially seek to go through the courts but you are then told by the law officer that there is nothing that can be done. At that point, it may seem much more reasonable to take revenge, the law having potentially failed to deliver justice.
