not sure if asked but a question about the games and the machines to play them on.

I can't seem to find this question and I would appreciate if someone can tell me or post a link to this question being answered. Can the games be played cross devices? For example, it seems my friends are being the steam BG:EE and BG2:EE versions of the games and I would like to know if I were to buy the tablet version if I would still be able to play with them or do I need to buy same device.

    Unfortunately, tablet and PC would not work. I don't think even Mac and PC works, though I am not sure about that one.

    Well, Beamdog and Steam works, I know that as a fact... so that's something at least! :D

    Mac and PC work. And iPad should work too, I would ask @Cuv since he is like the Multi Player guru here.
