Doom instant kill

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I used the Cleric/Druid spell Doom several times and in each case it caused an instant kill ! Is anyone else getting the same thing ? I have the most recent patch installed and I tried to install BG2 tweaks but it did'nt work.

    Sounds like a bug. Doom is not a death spell.

    I would do a full BG2EE reinstall and see if that addresses it.

    "Doom bug" would be especially apropos then?

    I only had that problem w/ the first couple fights , now it works fine. I think the killing blow came at the same time the Doom spell hit a few times. Sorry.
