in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I am playing a TOB game and finding that my main character is unable to access special abilities via the standard tool bar. The option is grayed out thus eliminating use of the pocket plane feature. How do I fix this?

    Additionally, quick slots are grayed out for my main character. Very confused.

    You should press the far right star shaped button, and there you will find the pocket plane icon.

    Not sure if this'll help, but you could try assigning a keystroke to it. Options > gameplay > assign keys, find "special abilities"(can't recall which menu it's under) then pick a key. Mine is E.
