Baldur's Gate II Widescreen Mod Problem

Hello. This is my first post here and I'm writing it because I have a minor problem. This post is not about enhanced version of the game. I decided to install widescreen mod but I can's use some resolutions: eg 1600x1200. When I try to force it and I start the game, the menu window is so big that i can see only the small part of the logo. The same goes for movies at the beginning.
However, some of the resolutions seem to work but they 'destroy' the bottom panel - the buttons, skill icons and conversation icon, are not in the middle anymore - they are slightly on the left and it annoys me in some way. It looks like this:

I want them to be in the middle and i can reach it by forcing 1050:1400 resolution, reverted. It works in windowed mode quite brillantly but when I go fullscreen the display acts the same way it acts at 1600:1200.
Is there a way to go windowed mode fullscreen or force 1050:1400 without destroying the display?
I would love to play the game again but, with my current monitor even the 1024:768 does not look so well ;<

If you've played BG 20 times, it sounds like you've more than gotten your money's worth. You might consider the EEs to further improve the next 20 playthroughs.
