A question about Carsomyr+5

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
The magic resistance now set to 50% and can not stack with other items.
I remember the old edition it can be stack with other items.

Which is the correct one?

    As I recall you could only stack with the vanilla BG2's Carsomyr by equipping Carsomyr first, then equipping other bonuses. It was always intended to set MR to 50% with no stacking, so EE corrected that bug.

    Does it stack with the 10% you can get from the hells trials?

    in the vanilla it did, so did the MR from the machine of lum the mad

    I definitely remember my Keldorn having higher MR while wielding Carsomyr, so it should stack even in EE. But I'm at work, so I can't check it for 100%

    Ok. I did double check, It still works like vanilla version. MR stack when u equip Carsomyr first, then equip other bonus.
