Giving a specific spell progression to a custom kit, similar to the Dragon Disciple ?

Heya,

In BG:EE, a new 2DA file, MXSPLDD.2DA defines the spell progression that is used by Dragon Disciple.
If I were to create a new kit, how would I define a new MXSPLMYKIT.2DA file for them ?

I can't find the corresponding reference in any other 2DA file :D

    I would also like to know if this is possible.
    and as a secondary question is it possible to modify the spell selection on level up to be on a kit by kit basis rather than taking the entire wizard's spellbook and choosing the spells from that for every arcane based class/kit?

    To the best of my knowledge it isn't possible to edit in new spell progression tables for classes or kits not already having them. You can only alter what's already there, or approach it in more roundabout ways.

    It sucks if it's hardcoded. It's one of the few things that should really have been externalized :(
