Is pickpocket useful in the Black Pits saga?

Anybody has tried to pickpocket in BP 1 and 2?

    In BP2, IIRC you could get a lot of enchanted arrows, potions, useless lowest-tier weapons, some gold coins, a book from the cook, and fire protection ring from weapons merchant. Maybe more that I've missed or just can't recall.

    You don't need a thief in either game, though.

    I found the basic stuff. Good, but not awesome. The message suggest that if we improve our pickpocket skills, we might be able to get better stuff. I'll give it a shot!

    No, don't. There's nothing like that I think. Tried raising it up to 180 or more, no difference. The message would still be the same.

    One of the merchants had something, if I'm not wrong.
