Does anyone wish there was more about Thalantyr? He was an adventurer who retired, so I wish there was something more about his past reflecting in how the PC goes about his travels.

There just felt like there could be something a little more to Thalantyr than a retired conjurer locked away in his keep.

Thoughts?

    Such a great voice, interesting backstory, hilarious attitude, cool name. Yeah, give me more Thalantyr.

    You can get a fair amount of backstory out of him ... you just end up screwing up a quest in the process. =P

    There are a lot of characters like this for me. Number one was Firebead Elvenhair. I always thought he'd know a little more about Gorion. Thalantyr is another, and Bjornin the Paladin in the Beregost tavern.
    I actually made a Black Pits party with younger minor NPCs from the BG Trilogy. I had like Thalantyr, Firebead, Gorion, Bjornin, Duke Eltan and High Watcher Oisig from the Temple of Helm.
    I wish there was more backstory for all of them. Thalantyr was supposed to be the only survivor of his group, so I was thinking of making a Black Pits 1 party with him, and everyone else dies :)
