Why can't I properly tell Neera to take a hike?

Why do I have to get teleported when I tell her I don't want her and why do I have to fight these guys when I tell them I don't know her?

    Well, in my game I'm currently playing an evil fighter I will dual to a cleric, and in that fight she ended up getting killed along with viconia and xzar by the mage after he color sprayed everyone. So when I woke up I had to res viconia and xzar but I got a cheese free gem bag out of it. Didn't even have to kill her myself. Win win I think.
