Fighter/Mage/Assassin

I have been trying unsuccessfully to EE kepper my fighter/mage/theif info fighter/mage/assassin. I change his kit into assassin and it says assassin on my char sheet in game and i can give him the innate abilities for level 1 no problem. But when i level up none of the assassin abilities are given. Recently tried to level 4 but no extra poison , i have to manually give him the innate abilities for each level not to mention i still get 25 points on level up instead of only 15 as assassins should get. So my question is how can i make my fighter/mage/theif into fighter/mage/assassin properly ? without having to change it via EE keeper for each level for abilities etc. Is there a way to properly use a kit this way ?

Many thanks

No these isnt but you can get a specification and a special eq.

Try changing his level back down to 0 and then saving. Hopefully it will then assign you correctly as Assassin.

Other than that guess I've got nothing...

Hmm that is odd. I'm not sure what the problem is, usually on level up it will correct itself with proper abilities, etc. I EEKeepered my own CHARNAME into a Wild Mage/Cleric and it worked just fine after I leveled, added the extra spells slots and Reckless Dweomer. Perhaps someone more knowledgable will know the answer, but unfotunately I do not.

decado is right. you need to change his thief class to 0 then level him up in the game (the plus sign will appear automatically when you load)

I had the same problem when I was trying to make Aerie an abjurer and a black pits character a fighter/shadowdancer

how do you change the theif class to level 0 ?

Just change all the available class slots to 0. That should do the trick.

Strange i tried it and i now got the correct abilities and backstab when i leveled up BUT i also got 1 more spell per level and 25 points per assassin level. So its working but its still a bit buggy. I seem to be leveling up as assassin just hit level 6 but im also leveling as a specialist mage getting 2 spells per level in stead of one and 25 skill points as i level up instead of the supposed 15.

It's normal, there are some limitations on kit for multiclass.

1 : When adding a kit to a multiclass, you must make your character level 0, then level up to 1 to correctly the kit. Then EEKeeper to remove the bonus HP you gain (you'll have twice the lvl 1 HP)

2 : When you add a thief kit to a multiclass, there are no thief penalties (skill points, backstab multiplier for Shadowdancer and Swashbuckler, etc)

3 : When you add a kit to a multiclass which have the mage class, you will have the +1 spell from being a specialist, whatever the kit you add. (You could add the Blackguard kit to a Fighter/Mage and still gaining 1 spell per level even if the Blackguard kit doesn't work on a F/M)

Oh yeah, I forgot, you have to delete your HP back to 1 (or else your character will have like double his HP when he levels up)
