Zhurlongs boots..

Quick question..

In what area can I find Zhurlong's boots? I searched the forested area south (with the sunken house) of Beregost, killed every hobgoblin and ghoul there was but didn't find any boots. Should I look further south?

I'm not sure what a badlands looks like actually.. being a non-native speaker.

    They're supposed to be in that area. The Hobgoblins should spawn just west of the Flaming Fist group that harasses you on the road, and just south of the small cave on the map.

    In the originals there was also a Hobgoblin in the Ulcaster area that had identical boots, but I'm pretty sure that was removed in BG:EE. At least, I've never found those boots.

    Agreed, map just south of Beregost, in a group West of the road, near the South of the map. It's no big deal if you don't get them it's only 200 or 300 xp? (I've actually kept them to help increase stealth on Montaron)

    @Mitchfork Nope they're still there in Ulcaster as well.

    Yep, I can confirm that I found a pair in both places.

    I'm not sure but I have this suspicon that I might have killed the hobgoblins left the stuff there and now when I come back the stuff is not there but I'm not sure it works that way. In Baldur's gate 2 after Imoen gets taken, I once overlooked all the stuff that was there too, including imoens, but in that game the stuff is always there where you or enemies leave it.

    I looked all over the place, south of the cave but no results.. also 300 XP might not be much but it's still something at the level my party is at.
