Trying to install Baldur's Gate with original disks

I have acquired a copy of the original mac version of the game and am trying to install it onto my mac. I am having issues, it keeps telling me You can’t open the application “(null)” because it may be damaged or incomplete. Is there anyone out there that can help me with this?
