Charname sometimes gets a bit more experience from certain quests. But that cannot account for such a huge difference.

A dead character, or one removed from party, does not gain xp... but unless u regularly had ur F/M/T dead or outta the party, the difference also shudn't be that huge.

Did you import the other character from a higher level save?

Did you solo BGEE with the F/M/T?

Both starting at the same level would not mean the same starting xp, though u guess that's what u mean anyway.

What levels are the 2 characters now? Maybe the xp just isn't showing correctly. Did the F/M/T get level-drained?

i meant same xp and no. i checked on eekeeper and it was half of the other characters. i changed it from there, i am just curious why the f/m/t is getting a slower progression
