Trouble with Tob patch..

Hey, ive looked everywhere so ill be suprised yet grateful if anyone could help me out here. I encountered a bug when i was in watchers keep where Hexxat died instantly, when i revive here she just instantly turns into a mist and goes, i know others have had this prob and ive tried everything like kicking her out returning to the PP rarara now my only solution lies in applying a patch. So anyway, i get the patch, and attempt to install only to be told: "The system cannot find the file specified" and given the fact that there's no basic info on how to apply the patch, troubleshooting, how it works ect. Its frustrating. But like i said id love any help anyone could provide.
