backstab isn't adding up!

would there be a reason for a backstab to do very very little damage, like a bad roll or something like that?
Article A: Triple backstab for 2 damage
Article 2: Observe the damage range on the inventory screen
Article Lowly hobgoblin takes 1 damage from backstab
No mods and as far as I'm aware the Iron Throne haven't been bolstering their ranks with super guards/hobgoblins

Also, Montaron in the same party as an assassin. He might get jealous!
I have literally shown up places where "Travel tile 2 days" and everyone gets struck with fatigue. Duh, we would have stopped after 8 hours.
That might be something really cool to add to the game. If travel time is greater than 12 hours, a popup menu opens upon starting saying 'Rest along the way' or 'travel straight through'. If you choose rest along the way, it calculates the travel time (and adjusts the random encounter check accordingly) based on resting 8 hours every 12, but you get there fully rested and ready for whatever you find. If you choose to travel straight through, things run as they do now.
You should also be able to designate "Enter area in daylight" or 'Wait till darkness', adding appropriate travel time accordingly. That way, if you want to only travel around in daylight (or night) it's assumed that you stopped along the outskirts (or at an appropriate stop along the way) and got there when you intended. This should also factor into the random encounter table.
Seriously though, if you travel from half way through Cloakwood back to the friendly arm inn, its like 2 days or something ridiculous. Haven't they ever heard of tents?
