Hello.
Enemies and party members have different rules for backstabbing. An enemy can backstab from all angles. Is it possible to change a PC to be able to do the same? I'm using NearInfinity.

It's hardcoded unfortunately. The bigg's tweak pack contains this component iirc, but it hasn't been updated for the EE and will only work on the vanilla game.

Well, at least it's possible. I wonder if this particular element would work if installed separately.

It wouldn't - components that alter hardcoded features do so by altering the exe file, meaning it will only work on a specific exe in which the feature you want to change holds a specific place. The EE exe files are different in size and composition from the vanilla ones, and so no such components stand any chance of installing. On top of that, updating them is a lot trickier than updating regular mods.

That's such a shame. Maybe there's a workaround without messing with the exe file.

As hardcoded features are contained in the exe file, you kind of have to mess with it to get to them.

Edit: Though you could work around it in other ways, like creating an ability that will (more or less) simulate a backstab but be usable from any direction and without stealth.
