usually i could use one of my companions as cannonfodder but not anymore for some reason... does the character need a certain level of charisma? is it because i am playing as evil as possible? what is the point in this character if i can now only talk to her using the bhaalspawn... she always says something like "i dream of wind-swept shores blah blah" its really starting to annoy me... i might just take her out and go on

Is your reputation too low? Npc reactions are based on your reputation+charisma. If your reputation is very low you need a very high charisma to get the best dialogues from npcs otherwise they will rebuff/ignore you. Or you can have a low charisma and very high reputation to even things out. If you both have low reputation and low charisma, don't expect many people giving you quests/rewarding you/helping you, or in this case, kissing you.

If your rep is too low have a npc with good charisma talk to the nereid. Dorn is suitable. Xzar can help after a friends scroll.

that might be the case... my character has very high charisma because of cloak and tomes so speaking to her with other characters doesnt seem to work apparently... which is still pretty stupid i might add

Does your main character have the highest Charisma of your party? I think that if your reaction modifier is too low she won't offer a kiss. In this case you might be able to force-attack her to get Droth to show up.

i quicksaved and force attacked her but she died and no ogre mage showed up...
i now gave that drow dude (whatever his name was) the cloak and it worked. I actually played with the thought of leaving him dead... if only he wouldn't be so useful
